Velox (Code: VelTSal)
Velox is building a global payments orchestration layer for merchants. We enable instant cross-border settlement using stablecoins — cutting out card fees, payout delays, and FX friction. We're starting with e-commerce exporters and expanding to serve importers, exporters, and wholesalers operating across emerging markets — especially in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana). Our goal is to create the financial infrastructure layer for the next generation of merchant and trade payments. We're in early private beta, focused on validating real-world payment and settlement pain points and running fast GTM experiments.
Project Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted prospecting and outreach via LinkedIn, email, and referrals
- Book and support qualified discovery calls with merchants
- Log detailed feedback in our discovery CRM, including: Use case type, Region, Revenue range, Workflow diagrams, Key pain points
- Track key sales metrics: contacts, calls booked, deals in pipeline
- Refine and test outbound messaging strategies
- Report key learnings and insights weekly, and help shape our playbook based on real-time feedback
Secondary Responsibilities (as time allows)
- Prepare sales enablement materials (e.g., one-pagers, cold email templates)
- Support the founder with operational and strategic tasks (founder’s associate role)
- Share customer insights with product and marketing to inform positioning
