Snappit (Code: SnaTMkt)
Snappit is a fintech startup that aims to transform the physical checkout experience by bringing the convenience and efficiency of online checkout into physical retail environments. Our goal is to make in-store shopping as seamless and straightforward as possible, while simultaneously adding value to every transaction. Our solution engages both businesses and consumers, creating an integrated ecosystem that enhances the retail experience for all parties involved.

Project Overview:

This project involves conducting a comprehensive market study to evaluate the potential of

a robust marketing strategy, initially leveraging social media channels, with expansion to

other promotional avenues in subsequent stages. It also concentrates in designing and executing a content marketing campaign to increase brand awareness and engagement for a digital product or service.

Project Key Milestones:

1. Weeks 1–2: 

Research and analyze the post-payment (loyalty and receipts) market in the UK, including key competitors, interested business partners and potential user demographics and find what are the best methods to approach businesses and users successfully through different means including social media. Furthermore, research, how key competitors (i.e. in the area of loyalty and digital receipts) are currently doing it. While researching the market and the best fit marketing strategies start with the following: 3-5 feed posts a week and at least one 24-hour-lasting post on social media (Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook). Start creating videos 2-5 per week asking people on the street about their purchases and lead the conversation towards loyalty and digital receipts. Create a calendar for your posts and modify it according to your other researched strategies.

2. Weeks 2–3: 

Evaluate distribution channels (e.g. social media, physical distribution such as leaflets, business meetings etc.). Post on social media and evaluate the initial marketing strategy .

3. Weeks 4-7: 

Evaluate the marketing strategies based on performance (e.g. a combination of short videos and single image & word posts). Start posting brand partnership videos too. If a partnership is not established let’s make a free ad video for our potential partners.

4. Week 4-8: 

Modify marketing strategies until the best ones are found.

5. Week 8: 

Incorporate feedback on each marketing strategy. Have a timetable of content creation and posting.

Expected Deliverables:

● A list of all researched and trialed marketing strategies for businesses, along business specifics (e.g business type and primary way of using it (loyalty vs receipts vs both etc.)).

● A list of all researched and trialed marketing strategies for individual users, together with demographics and other analysis .

● A target goal for 12 weeks if that strategy is followed (i.e. how many followers & business partners as well as posts).

● Timetable of content creation and posting.

● Trialing different strategies of gaining market recognition.

● Partnering with businesses and advertising for them too.

● Having a good follow base on instagram and other social media.
