Roam Medical (Code: RoaHMkt)
Finding healthcare services abroad is extremely difficult because of a lack of dedicated resources on how to access them as a foreigner. ROAM Medical is a platform that connects long-term travelers and expats to English-speaking healthcare services abroad. The first city we’ve launched in is Tokyo. Since launching at the beginning of 2023, we have had 54 clinic listings, 2k+ website users, and completed nearly 70 bookings. The next city we plan to launch over the next few months is Seoul, which presents a number of exciting opportunities and challenges
In addition to being a popular vacation destination, Seoul, and South Korea at large, has a booming medical tourism industry. This means that there is already a strong appetite for foreign patients among South Korean clinics. The challenge now is to figure out how to effectively market these clinics and ROAM Medical to patients from overseas. We believe that social media will be the biggest channel for this.
Your project will be to build and manage ROAM’s social media as we launch in Seoul. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to the following items:
● Research best practices for social media marketing, specifically as it relates to healthcare and travel.
● Create a social media strategy for ROAM Medical.
● Identify and build relations with influencers and creators with whom we can build strong relationships.
● Collaborate with our clinical partners to best align our social media strategy.
● Create and post content for ROAM Medical across all relevant platforms.
You have a fair bit of autonomy with how you choose to go about this project. We believe that the best content will be engaging, informative, and memorable, so we encourage you to be creative both in the content we share, but also in the way we work with our stakeholders. This project is very important for ROAM Medical as it will be the foundation for how we approach our social media strategy going forward – in Seoul and beyond.
