You’ll be working on a stealth startup tackling a real safety issue affecting young people across London. Your mission is to support our go-to-market and community engagement strategy as we prepare for launch. The product itself will be revealed only to key partners, so discretion is essential.
Your Core Responsibilities
1. Marketing Research & Strategy
o Explore cost-effective, high-impact marketing channels for reaching London-based university students.
o Benchmark student-focused product launches – what worked, what flopped?
o Propose a marketing strategy tailored to safety-conscious Gen Z audiences.
2. Community & Partnerships
o Build connections with student unions, university societies, and campus influencers.
o Identify 5–10 top societies per university (e.g., sports, nightlife, student media) to approach.
o Help craft outreach messages and book introductory calls.
3. Pricing & Pre-orders
o Research similar safety and lifestyle products for price anchoring.
o Suggest pricing tiers that would work for students (inc. bundle/group pricing).
o Help design and test a pre-order landing page (no product details revealed).
o Gather expressions of interest and pre-orders through university channels.
4. Distribution & Fulfilment
o Investigate best delivery options: university pick-up points, mailboxes, on-campus lockers, or direct to home.
o Explore low-cost fulfilment logistics in London, focusing on student convenience.
o Propose a hybrid model for both local and remote deliveries.
